Our Panel Profiles – What’s the Difference?

On our social media sites we often talk about the “FF150 panel” or the “SSQ675” panel.  But, what does that really mean? In this post we’ll break down the basic differences so you can get a better idea of what may be the best fit for your project.

First up, the ever popular FF150 panel.

This is, by far, the most common panel we produce. This panel:

  • Is best for residential projects
  • Has concealed fastener panels, but always has exposed fastener trim
  • Is used on slopes down to 3:12
  • Has a 40 year non pro-rated finish warranty
  • Is UL tested an approved for class 4 impact resistance and class A fire resistance
  • Available in 24 or 26 gauge steel

We also manufacture the SS675 panel.  This panel:

  • Is best for residential or commercial
  • Is hemmed and riveted for completely concealed fastener panels and trim
  • Is used on slopes down to 2:12
  • Has a 40 year non pro-rated finish warranty
  • Is UL tested an approved for class 4 impact resistance, class A fire resistance and class 90 uplift resistance
  • Available in 22, 24 or 26 gauge steel

The third, and final, panel we manufacture on the job site is the SS210 panel. This panel:

  • Is best for commercial roofs or low slope roofs
  • Is hemmed and riveted for completely concealed fastener panels and trim 
  • Is used on slopes down to 0.5:12
  • Has a 40 year non pro-rated finish warranty
  • Is UL tested an approved for class 4 impact resistance, class A fire resistance and class 90 uplift resistance
  • Available in 22, 24 or 26 gauge steel
